Every year, Engagement Global and the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) organize a series of events – this time in cooperation with the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (HNEE). The lectures will address how the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda can be put into practice. This year, the events will focus on the role of global partnerships.
Over five evenings, experts from academia, politics, civil society, and development cooperation will share their perspectives on SDG 17 and the importance of partnerships for international cooperation. The series of lectures will provide an overview of ongoing political and academic discussions. All events are free of charge, accessible online, and will be held from 6.00 to 7.30 pm.
Registration for attending the kick-off event (in German) in person will be open until November 9. The first evening will focus on the potential of different partnership forms and the role of civil society in Germany and partner countries. For online lectures, interested individuals can sign up on the website of Engagement Global until the day of the event.
