The conference paper on stakeholder engagement outlines challenges, provides practical recommendations for application, and presents examples of good practices.

On 16 September, the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (BMAS) and the Sector Dialogues organized an expert conference with representatives from companies, civil society, trade unions, academia, and political institutions. The participants convened to discuss challenges and success criteria for effective stakeholder engagement.

The paper summarizes key findings from the conference in relation to identified challenges, highlights practical recommendations for action, and presents successful case studies. Essential aspects, such as approaches to risk analysis, collective measures, stakeholder engagement in conflict-affected areas, and the design of effective grievance mechanisms, are covered.
