The OECD Forum on Due Diligence in the Garment and Footwear Sector brings together international stakeholders from politics, business, trade unions, civil society, and academia. It will take place in Paris on 11th and 12th February 2026. In addition, sidesessions to the forum will be held from 9th to 13th of February.

The annual forum is a leading international event on due diligence in the garment and footwear sector. The OECD-sessions provide important insights into how companies can implement due diligence obligations in accordance with industry-specific OECD criteria. Some of the meetings will be streamed online. Next to the OECD-sessions, numerous industry players are organizing side-sessions and contributing different perspectives from the sector. While some of these side sessions will take place on site in Paris on 11th, and 12th of February, there will also be more than 40 virtual side-sessions on 9th, 10th, and 13th of February. The sessions will address topics around labor, human rights, integrity, and environmental issues in the industry, as well as relevant approaches to overcoming current challenges. For example, a side session on Meaningful stakeholder engagement in practice: Insights from India, Indonesia and Eastern Europe is organized by Fair Wear, Partnership for Sustainable Textiles, Green Button, and CNV International.

The forum offers a great opportunity to gain insights into existing and emerging challenges relating to due diligence in the garment and footwear industry, and to follow current discussions and approaches to solutions from different perspectives. An overview of all speakers at this year’s event is available on the event website.

Interested parties can apply to participate on site or register for virtual participation. The recordings of last year’s forum, which provide insights into previous contributions and discussions, can also be accessed after a registration.
