Leaders from government, local authorities, international organizations, civil society, activists, young advocates, the creative industry and the private sector are brought together. The Festival provides a dynamic and interactive space to showcase innovations, tools and approaches to SDG action. The 2019 program is structured around the following 7 topics: Mobilization, Storytelling, Campaigning, Visualization, Networking, Inclusion, and Creativity.
Session on Multi Stakeholder Partnerships by Partnerships2030 and EEAC
Together with the EEAC Network, the Partnerships2030 team will cohost an interactive workshop focusing on multi-stakeholder partnerships (MSPs), in which stakeholders from the public sector, private sector, civil society and academia cooperate on equal footing in order to implement the SDGs. The aim of the session is to share practical experience and knowledge in order to create new partnerships and further improve existing ones as well as further contacts and opportunities. Therefore, four expert presenters will give 2 – 3 minute pitches in plenary, including two key questions for subsequent discussions. During the main part of the session, participants will discuss these key questions in four small groups, accompanied each joined by one presenter.
The four presenters:
– Marja Innanen is Chief Specialist on the issue of Sustainable Development at the Prime Minister’s Office in Finland.
– Arnau Queralt-Bassa is Chairman of the EEAC Network and Director of the Council for Sustainable Development in Catalonia.
– Catherine Zucco works at WWF Germany to advance sustainable fisheries and how transparency in supply chains can be progressed through the engagement of fisheries, the public, private sector actors and the government, with specific expertise in the Philippines, Mozambique and South Africa.
– Susanne Salz, Partnerships2030 project leader at GIZ. Partnerships2030supports and advises new and existing multi-stakeholder-partnerships.
