MSP in practice

The multi-stakeholder partnership (MSP) Solutions for Youth Employment (S4YE) is launching a new initiative called Jobs in the Circular Economy with several partners. The first product of the initiative, a report on the topic, has now been presented at the launch.

The goal of the Jobs in the Circular Economy initiative is to provide a basis for the study of jobs in the circular economy. In doing so, it aims to identify numerous gaps in the evidence base for circular jobs through collaboration with an international community of academia, industry, civil society, governments and public institutions.

At the launch of the Jobs in the Circular Economy initiative, a report and accompanying presentation have now been released. The report is a literature review on the topic, while the presentation introduces the initiative in more detail and explains the report. In addition, a panel discussion debated the importance of good jobs in the transition to the circular economy.

S4YE is an MSP that works to improve employment opportunities for young people to reduce youth unemployment by, among other things, creating sustainable jobs and providing guidance and support to young people as well as doing research.

Jobs in the Circular Economy is run by S4YE, the International Labour Organization and Circle Economy.
