The event takes place virtually via Zoom on April 26 at 14.00 CET. Collaborative approaches will be highlighted as an effective tool for sustainable use of resources at local, national and global levels in the face of the global challenges posed by the Corona pandemic, the climate crisis and related socio-economic shocks.
The focus of the discussion will be on the importance of an evidence-based approach to recovery from the Covid pandemic (“Building Back Better Together”) as well as the opportunities that effective partnerships offer for the efficient use of financial resources. The importance of funding beyond official development assistance (ODA) spending will be in the spotlight. Partnerships with development banks and the private sector will be highlighted. Registration is possible via this link.
The event takes place in the context of the 2022 ECOSOC Forum on Financing for Development, which focusses on financing national sustainable development strategies, in particular private sector investment for the Sustainable Development Goals.
