As a culmination of the joint campaign to develop, support and improve multi-stakeholder partnerships, Partnerships2030, the 2030 Agenda Partnership Accelerator, the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), The Partnering Initiative (TPI) and the Global Forum on SDG Advisory Bodies co-host the SDG Partnership Symposium on September 17, 2023 at the New Yorker Nomad Tower. Starting at 6.00 pm (EDT), the event will be held in-person with no virtual participation possible. Kindly register in advance until September 11, 2023.
The event will focus on the launch of the new report on the state of partnership enablers for the SDGs. Core questions are: What’s holding back more and more effective collaboration and what do we need to do to deliver a wholesale shift in global partnering practice and impact?
The symposium offers participants the opportunity to engage in discussions, exchange ideas and network.
The Symposium will be held in the scope of the UN SGD Summit 2023, which will take place on September 18 and 19, 2023, in New York during the UN General Assembly. The SDG Summit marks the halfway point on the path to achieving the 2030 Agenda and is intended to push for accelerated actions. High-level politicians come together to assess the status of the 17 SDGs and adjust the global guidelines for transformative actions.
