The recently published 2020 monitoring report of the multi-stakeholder partnership (MSP) German Initiative on Sustainable Cocoa (GISCO) highlights, among other things, the importance of MSPs in bringing about improvements, particularly for farmers producer countries.

One of the key recommendations for action in the report is that Forum members continue to work to promote MSPs to bring about improvements, particularly for actors at the beginning of the supply chain. In doing so, MSPs will ensure that there is a regular exchange of experiences and best practices.

Beate Weiskopf, Executive Director of GISCO, explained in an interview back in February 2021 that the MSP character is particularly crucial for the further development of the Forum and the formulation of new objectives and related activities.
