How can the development stage of a multi-stakeholder partnership (MSP) be systematically assessed? And how can partnerships reflect on their current status and identify next steps? The self-assessment tool by Partnerships2030 provides practical guidance – and is now available in an improved, more user-friendly version.

The checklist helps users analyse their partnership along typical development phases and assess key milestones. It can be used individually or in a group setting, for example within a secretariat or with core partners, and serves as a basis for reflection, exchange and planning future activities.

The tool has now been comprehensively updated: New fillable fields make it easier to use and allow for more structured input. This not only improves usability but also simplifies the evaluation of results. In addition, content has been updated, many links corrected and new publications integrated.

The revised self-assessment tool offers even more practical support for MSPs aiming to strengthen and further develop their collaboration.
