Partnerships2030

Multi-stakeholder partnerships (MSPs) unite various interest groups from the state, private sector, civil society, and academia, each with their unique positions, views, and interests. When diverse organizational cultures and hierarchies converge, decision-making can become challenging. Well-functioning mechanisms for decision-making are therefore indispensable, especially when addressing complex issues.

In this handout, we provide an insight into concrete first steps that MSPs can adopt to enhance the efficiency and efficacy of their decision-making processes. The “collegial leadership” tools we highlight can foster more balanced and equitable decision outcomes.
